Responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle for Unix/Linux server solutions. Core competencies include, but are not limited to, Linux and AIX operating systems, x86 hypervisors, scripting/automation, and x86 hardware solutions. Interfaces with Solution Architect, Application Development and Integration teams on standards exceptions or problem solving of issues relating to hardware/OS/application integration.
Responsibilities:
- Responds to engagements from the Command Center and first-/second-level operations teams to provide production fixes and root-cause analysis. Available on a pager rotation for 24×7 support.
- Documents current environments, SOPS, future directions, technical designs, change tickets, etc., for internal operations as well as external auditors
- Researches current industry trends and best practices working with both internal parties and third-party vendors.
- Full lifecycle development for application and hardware solutions. Performs POTs/POCs to determine proper technical solution and customize, test, and deploy them for usage in a highly regulated and highly available environment.

Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in large enterprise systems engineering, or related field
- In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in large enterprise systems engineering, or related field
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator
