JOIN OUR TEAM

We're looking for an organized and highly motivated System Administrator to join our team. Our computers team manages the internal network, applications, servers and workstations. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate must have a deep and broad knowledge of computer software, hardware and networks, with strong emphasis on Linux and Linux applications.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Install and configure Linux servers
  • Install and configure mission critical applications in the Linux environment
  • Create support and monitoring infrastructure for the Linux environment
  • Tune, ensure high availability, and disaster recovery of key systems
  • Develop and maintain configuration management solutions and automation frameworks
  • Ensure a robust, reliable cloud computing environment, taking advantage of new services and best practices within AWS
  • Oversee lifecycle operations for both hardware and software
  • Manage and support cloud applications, including G-Suite
  • Administer user accounts and access controls
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages
  • Assist users with support inquiries
  • Ensure security compliance by coordinating actions with the Security group
  • Create documentation to cover new and existing systems
  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies

Requirements

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • You are an exceptionally resourceful individual with the ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly
  • You have 3-5 years experience in IT systems administration
  • You are experienced in Linux administration
  • You have experience with cloud application and hosting platforms, specifically AWS
  • You have experience of configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet and Chef
  • You have knowledge of networking concepts including routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, and NAT
  • You are focused on security, from the design and implementation of new systems, to maintaining and improving existing ones
  • You are capable of writing scripts in Perl, Python, or Bash

Plus: You are a detail-oriented problem solver, a quick learner with interest and ability to learn new technologies and possess excellent communication skills
