Position Pay Range:

This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.

$116,395.00-$186,232.00

Our newly restructured Digital Engagement Solutions (DES) organization is poised for growth. We have a portfolio of products for multi-channel communication, Journey Orchestration, and Customer Data Platform (CDP) to accelerate our digital engagement strategy.

Position Details:

Exciting opportunity to work with exceptional professionals as we define, develop and deploy our CDP platform on premise and to the leading cloud providers. Kubernetes on Linux virtual machines, Elastic Map Reduce clusters and hosted/on-premise RDS, MySQL & SQL Server databases power the CDP platform today. We are looking for a candidate who is highly hands-on with Linux Images, Kubernetes and experienced in security in the cloud to maintain an existing setup and optimize it further for evolving product development. 

Responsibilities

• Manages of a team of operations engineers while providing technical leadership.
• Owns our Cloud Architecture in a cloud independent deployment environment.
• Owns our CI/CD platform using Github, Jenkins and Azure DevOps
• Develops specifications, complex systems diagrams and procedures to efficiently build, test and deploy the solutions. 
• Plan and perform internal audits for architectural compliance of platform and security standards supporting industry audit standards. 
• Creates scripts, tools, frameworks, metrics, process / procedure, and documentation to support the Operation needs. 
• Provide technical escalation support for platform components and integration of application components for CSG technical teams.
• Exceptional knowledge of systems architecture focused on Cloud, Linux and Docker Technology.
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar. 
• Knowledge of system, network, storage principles and operating system internals required. 
• Strong communication skills that transcend from research & development to executive management are required

Minimum Required Skills

• 5+ years of Technology experience to the position requirements.
• Typically, 5 years+ experience in IT architectural systems design and implementation and 7+ years IT industry experience. 
• Experience in managing a DevOps team including but not limited to driving the operational flow of work, motivating the team and tracking and reporting results.
• Drive efficient, high quality development operations through automation, systems thinking and unusually strong problem-solving skills. Must be proficient at architecture and designing product deployments in the Cloud.
• The ability to read / follow source code is required.
• Automation skills are critical experience in Terraform, Jenkins, DevOps, Kubernetes
• Must have AWS cloud infrastructure experience.
• Experience with multi-user software applications in a high demand, high availability environment.
• Experience with bash, zsh, ksh, awk, sed, required, other scripting in Perl, Python, Ruby desired.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Hadoop and EMR
• AWS certifications

Education:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science field or equivalent work-related experience in a team environment
