We're looking for a Manager, Growth Engineering (Chicago HQ or Remote)

  • We are a dynamic team of engineers that iterate on ideas and products for a growing company that is dedicated to building meaningful tech communities. You will be able to work with diverse technologies in our engineering while helping our company grow.
  • Manage a team of software engineers with the responsibility of their career growth.
  • Be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects.
  • Work with Go, Vue JS, AWS, TypeScript and many modern technologies to build services.
  • Maintain and upgrade parts of our legacy platform in Drupal.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and product management team to ensure we're building the best products
  • Build Elite/High performing teams using modern SDLC

Your Background

  • You have programmed with modern frontend and backend language/technologies. A small list of examples for such languages include Go, C#, Java, PHP, Vue JS, React, TypeScript etc
  • You have at least 7+ years of experience building reliable, maintainable, and scalable systems and products.
  • You have 2+ years of leading teams with people management experience.
  • You love experimentation. You strive to understand how things are put together and why they aren't working. You change what's working and not working in the pursuit of making it better. 
  • You enjoy mentoring and growing your team engineers. You are constantly looking for improvements. 
  • You understand that communication and transparency is vital to being part of any functional team.
