Field Operations Manager
The Role:
Crafty is seeking a Field Operations Manager to provide oversight of the daily operations and act as the front-line company relationship owner with our clients. There are three main areas of responsibilities: people management, oversight of daily operations and strategic planning.
People Management:
You will be the direct manager of the on-site operators and field coordinators who collect product delivered by our delivery operations team and merchandise/stock the products and service equipment at our clients’ offices. You will:
Manage and evolve our approach to Operator check-ins and performance management
Proactively and reactively conduct performance management and professional development for Operators
Develop training needs that you see out in the field, and coordinate outstanding needs with the operator coordinator
Daily Operations:
You will be responsible for oversight of daily operations of all client accounts, including:
Developing rapport with clients while conducting scheduled or impromptu visits
Oversee client implementations including scheduling operator times, being onsite for implementations, and developing planograms
Conduct official QC evaluations: (1) aesthetics, (2) food safety, (3) backstock organization, (4) equipment maintenance and (5) stocking / merchandising standards
Develop deep equipment (e.g. kegerators, coffee/espresso machines, fridges) training to assist with troubleshooting
Engage with and monitor delivery communications across field operations
Report-outs with efficient and increased service level recommendations from client visits
Strategic Planning:
The Field Manager will ensure the team is performing to Crafty standards. You will balance daily operations with strategic problem solving for a better client experience and on the ground operations efficiency:
Manage labor costs and develop approaches and ideas to lower cost of service while maintaining quality
Develop and lead continuous operations projects to improve our overall profitability and service
Evolve Crafty service requirements that standardize our service
