Mobile Development Lead

Palo Alto, CA or Chicago, IL

We’re looking for a Sr. Mobile Developer with proven experience in iOS app development, including architecture, coding, debugging, App Store submission process and maintenance. The ideal candidate understands how to architect the app components, prioritize and delegate development tasks, and ensure high quality and on time delivery. This person should be pumped about building something from scratch with an incredible team in a fast-paced startup environment.

You’ll be responsible for…

• Leading the end-to-end development of the Jiobit’s iOS app

• Defining the architecture and design from scratch

• Working with the our awesome product team in the implementation and testing of the app

• Delivering the highest quality app experience on time

Why we want you:

You have..

• Solid knowledge of the general CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structure, design patterns, object orientation, etc)

• Proficiency with Objective-C and/or Swift, and Cocoa Touch

• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.

• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services

• Understanding of the Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines

• Experience with performance and memory tuning, debug and resolve memory leaks and performance issues

• Experience with app benchmarking and optimization

• Experience with the Apple submission process

• Experience with Android (desired but not required)
