Mobile Engineering Manager

We are looking for a Mobile Engineering Manager to join our Digital team in Chicago. You'll lead our mobile engineering team in the planning, design, and development of our iOS and Android apps. The ideal candidate understands how to balance a desire for perfectionism with the need for pragmatism. You will integrate with and leverage our existing systems as you help build longer lasting and more scalable solutions from scratch.

About you

You’ll contribute to the success of the team both as an individual contributor as well as a leader, ensuring that we deliver sound features at the leading-edge of digital lending at a consistent pace. You will innovate, adapt, and build lasting and scalable solutions from scratch.

YourResponsibilities

• Break down projects into reasonable MVPs

• Help the team keep on track with a consistent monthly release cadence

• Identify and address bottlenecks early

• Guide engineers along their career paths and provide feedback

• Contribute to our strategic technology planning

• Assist with flushing out, prioritizing, and driving our product roadmap

• Scale our team and processes in line with the growth of our mobile apps

• Design and develop new features for our mobile apps as an individual contributor

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience developing native iOS applications in Swift or Android applications in Kotlin

• Experience interacting with RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of best practices for automated testing and the infrastructure necessary to support it

• Experience leading engineers and guiding them through their career development

• Strong teamwork and partnering skills for cross-group collaboration

• Experience working in Financial Services industry
