Who We Are

At Trunk Club, we're building the future of retail, enabled through technology. Our IT team supports the hardware, software and infrastructure of the entire organization in order to keep things running smoothly. The IT team is in need of a Network Engineer to keep our operations up and running while interfacing with off site locations. We are looking for someone who is able to travel to our six clubhouses nationally on a semi-regular basis.

What You'll Do 

  • Perform design and configuration changes to ensure network coverage and performance
  • Provide daily support for resolving network/VOIP/firewall/VPN related issues including cloud-hosted solutions
  • Participate in design and architecture discussions and propose ways to optimize/stabilize the network infrastructure
  • Execute tasks/fulfill responsibilities associated with network projects 
  • Prepare and update network documentation including diagrams, standard build documents, and best practice procedures.
  • Able to be on call to troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Act as liaison to Nordstrom infrastructure team and attend meetings as necessary. 
  • Organized and detail oriented

What your background may look like

  • Minimum 5 years experience working with Cisco or Meraki devices, including switches and firewalls
  • Expertise in Networking best practices 
  • Demonstrated successful implementation LAN/WAN networks, including technical troubleshooting
  • Troubleshooting proficiency with voice and wireless infrastructure
  • Understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack, application protocols such as SNMP, SMTP, DNS, and DHCP
  • Failover planning, design, and testing
  • Ability to balance simultaneous effort between project work and level-2/3 support
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and capacity planning tools
  • Experience working with remote teams across multiple geo locations.
  • Organized with good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage a project from beginning to end with minimal supervision
