This is the Principal Backend Ruby Engineer role you've been waiting for
This is the job you've been waiting for.
Who you are: You're a backend engineer who is an expert in Ruby. You've at a tech company, and maybe even managed a person or two. You love to execute and understand the difference between perfection and execution. And you're ready for complete ownership.
Most importantly, you dream of being in a small startup. Of really making your mark. Of using all of your skills. You have your pet projects that you work on in the evenings, but you just haven't found the right one to really sink your life into. You love tech, but need a real startup so you can make your mark. You enjoy learning and growth and marvel at the different programming languages you've learned. You don't mind working long hours if you know you're making a difference and feel valued.
Who we are: A company that is changing the motorcycle industry. We pair motorcycle owners with riders and facilitate the rental. We are solving two problems, motorcycle rentals are inconvenient, and there are too many bikes sitting unused in people's garages. And we are growing fast.
We are young, hungry, small, and innovative. We are nimble and passionate. We're practical. Analytical. Fast. We roll up our sleeves and get our hands dirty. We're humble, never satisfied with the status quo, and we laugh a lot.
We will take our time to find the right person, as this is a long-term assignment. Sort of a marriage. Think many, many years.
Equity will be an important part of the compensation package.
We are looking forward to meeting the right person.
