Join Rally Health as Principal Full Stack Software Engineer. As part of the Guidance team, you will report to the Engineering Manager and work with engineering leaders, Product Managers and other teams. We recognize that people come from diverse backgrounds and skills and welcome all to apply.

You Will:

• Write high-quality, fault tolerant code; normally 60% front-end and 40% backend.
• Architect and build scalable systems
• Be involved in the software lifecycle, from requirements gathering to development, testing and releasing code
• Work in a team setting to achieve features motivated by the mission.
• Be an expert in client-side performance, including load time, memory management, the number of http requests.
• Be well-versed in JavaScript task runners, suggest and implement new tasks (eg, minification, mapping, linting, and concatenation).

You Have:

• 6+ years expert level experience with modern JS libraries and frameworks like Angular and React
• Experience using RESTful APIs and asynchronous JS
• Experience with CSS, web browsers, HTTP, cookies, caching, and HTML5 web storage
• 6+ years expert level experience in Java or another compiled language, along with experience in design & development
• Exposure to or interest in learning Scala, or exposure to other functional programming languages
• Unit testing experience (prefer Scala test/Spec2/Scala Check)
• Commercial experience with distributed, high-performance systems.
• Database and caching experience, SQL and NoSQL (Postgres, Elasticsearch or MongoDB a plus).
• Experience with cloud-based services and hosting
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical role or equivalent experience

• Colorado Residents Only: The expected salary range for this position will be: $133,919.00 - $180,000.00
