POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Analyst works with our Product Management team to test new product features and troubleshoot product issues prior to release.
Fundamental Components:
- Execute system release testing in DEV, QA, and PROD environments in all supported browsers.
- Participate in technical specification reviews in order to fully understand new system functionality.
- Create test case scenarios and test plans for product functionality based upon product specifications and implemented functionality.
- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables.
- Ensures the ability to find defects and bugs quickly.
- Communicate testing results to the Product Management and Product Development teams.
- Liaise with other business groups including Client Services, Sales, Marketing and Software Development to assist with product questions and issues.
- Assist in the triage, investigation and resolution of product issues.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
- Bachelor's degree
- Technical background, with experience in QA testing
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Attention to detail
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate technical terms into plain English
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Preferred:
- Experience with the bswift system
- Experience in health care & benefits admin industry
- Microsoft Test Manager
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
