Position Summary: The QA Automation Tester is responsible for creating automated tests on computer applications to isolate and solve issues, initiates tests, analyzes results, and document and report anomalies and issues. To make sure that testing is well defined, planned and executed. The developer does this by ensuring that every phase and feature of the software solution is tested and that any potential issue is identified and fixed before the product goes live.

Fundamental Components:

· Execute system release testing in DEV, QA, and PROD environments in all supported browsers.

· Design and execute test scripts in Ranorex.

· Develop software testing framework in C# using .Net

· Extend existing applications to enhance automated testing ability.

· Detect and report software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected.

· Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.

  

Background/Experience:

· 1 – 3 years related experience as a QA Automation Tester or Jr. Developer; would consider recent or upcoming college graduates with related internship/project experience.

· Experience with .NET framework

· C# or similar languages such as Java.

· Experience with SQL Server.

· Experience with Ranorex a plus.

· Ability to translate technical terms; solid written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational skills, planning skills and strong attention to detail.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent teamwork skills

 

Education    

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related strongly preferred.
