What you will do:

  • Responsible for the Product Quality of major releases involving platforms and products – This involves engaging in the full software testing process from requirements scoping to test planning and execution and participating in the release planning process to declare a release “production-ready”.
  • Ensure the quality of the deliverables by engaging in the full software testing process, using automated and manual testing techniques
  • Participate in project planning to provide input on functional and non-functional requirements, usability requirements, testing strategies manual and automation, test planning, testing time estimates and schedules and identify and track potential risks. 
  • Design & build test scenarios by interpreting requirements
  • Execute test scenarios to uncover and isolate defects
  • Analyze, document, and track software defects to closure
  • Adopt various functional testing methodologies like exploratory testing, compatibility testing, regression testing to ensure features are usable, reliable, and work as designed
  • Adopt various non-functional testing methodologies like performance, load, and resiliency testing to ensure the usability of features, establish benchmarks and define guardrails.
  • Responsible to identify areas of improvements in the automation framework and implement solutions
  • Collaborate with product owners, development team, and UI designers to actively promote the quality goal. 
  • Follow established processes in support of providing quality products. 

We are looking for people with:

  • A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or comparable experience Skill Set
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with test automation
  • Hands-on experience in test automation tools like Selenium or Protractor
  • Knowledge in at least one programming language or scripting languages
  • Experience with Object-Oriented design and development
  • Strong test validation and test debugging skills
  • Strong understanding of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) concepts and practices to continually assess the risks and quality of products and releases.
  • Experience with Web-application/Cross-browser and Database testing
  • Experience working with Cloud-based applications is nice to have
  • Experience working in onshore-offshore model
  • Familiarity working in Agile-Scrum environment and software production release process
