What You’ll Do

• Write, document, and execute test plans for front-end applications, both desktop and mobile
• Write, document, and execute test plans for REST services and backend infrastructure
• Incorporate current and future test cases into automated test suites
• Set up and maintain automated test infrastructure as part of a CI build pipeline
• Identify, document, and help debug production and development issues as they arise
• Drive and help establish better testing practices and integrate that into an agile workplace

What You’ll Need

• 3-5 years of experience in IT with a minimum of 2 years in a QA role
• Working knowledge of functional testing strategies (unit/integration/regression/etc)
• Experience with issue tracking tools like Jira, Confluence, or BugZilla
• Coding experience with scripting languages (ex: python, groovy, bash)
• Familiarity with UI debugging tools and Selenium Web Driver
• Postman or SoapUI experience (or similar) for testing RESTful API services
• Experience writing and executing queries to extract data from databases (MySQL/Postgres)
• Some Docker experience, on-prem and/or through a cloud service (GKE/EKS)
• Continuous Integration experience with Gitlab-ci
• Ability to navigate and troubleshoot running processes/systems from a Linux CLI
• Working knowledge of GIT or similar versioning software
