Our technology team is looking for a QA test engineer to participate in the continued build out of our platform in support of our rapidly growing lending business.  The QA test engineer will be responsible for quality assurance of the lending platform.  We are seeking very strong hands-on technical candidates who want to be part of an exciting and challenging technology team in a startup atmosphere. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Clear documentation of functional and SIT test cases using TestRail (Test Management Tool)
• Execution of test cases in multiple, concurrent, complex projects and product release efforts
• Update assigned tasks and stories in Jira daily and provide transparency to the project team on their progress
• Participate in project standup calls
• Some test automation work – mainly updating Feature Files as needed to enable automated regression test execution of desired features and scenarios
• Work with QA Manager in prioritizing workload
• Stay up to date with tools, trends, and technologies in the FinTech space

Requirements

• Formal testing experience with an understanding of various testing disciplines (test coverage and traceability, proper defect reporting, test status reporting, etc.)
• Experienced in design and development of test cases using industrial test management tools such as ALM, TestRail, etc.
• Intimate knowledge and practical experience in functional testing and system integration testing
• 2 to 3 years of experience testing financial or banking systems and application
• Experience in testing web application technologies.
• Proficient at writing SQL queries (Intermediate Level) with experience in data validation testing
• IntelliJ IDE, PG Admin, Postman, Jira, MS Office suite
• Advanced user of MS Excel – build complex formulas to replicate financial calculations and data transformation
• Previous experience with Postgres databases
• TestRail experience for test management, but will consider candidates with experience using other Test Management Tools
• Some basic programming experience preferably Java is a plus
• Experience with automated test execution is a plus.  Specifically, using a Cucumber framework build around Selenium WebDriver.
