At the core, this role is responsible for ensuring software products meet the established standard of quality including reliability, usability, and performance. You will work as part of a team and will estimate, plan, and coordinate software testing activities. You will work closely with the your QA counterparts as well as the Domain Architect and Development teams to create test strategies, execute manual and automated testing, and ensure that systems products meet the highest company standards and end-user have come to expect.

To meet our job requirements, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and at least a few years of experience under your belt of top notch QA work (more is okay too!). Just as important, you must have a passion for getting your hands dirty in many types of systems testing, high attention to detail in how systems work together, and a willingness and excitement to learn about how we do things at Peapod from the team. Of course, being a QA pro, you will already have experience with automation tools and Software Life Cycle Development. We also need you to have experience working with the Microfocus suit (UFT, QC, PC, and Sprinter), working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, experiences with databases and the ability to write and execute SQL commands, and experience with Unix.
