This position is based in our home office, located in Chicago’s River North neighborhood.

Position Responsibilities

  • Work along an agile development process to provide continuous feedback and ensure continuous quality
  • Take part in the daily scrum and pay close attention to applying test automation where possible to solidify and make the process as accurate, quick and efficient as possible
  • Create and maintain manual test cases based on dynamic requirements
  • Create and maintain automated tests cases
  • Perform testing sweeps
  • Thoroughly research and communicate defects to developers and track their resolution
  • Help establish and communicate processes as it relates to automated testing

Preferred Experience

  • 2+ years professional software QA experience
  • Previous experience testing mobile apps and websites
  • Previous experience writing test plans both manual and automated
  • Experience with Performance and Data testing
  • Familiarity with agile scrum process and JIRA

 Technical Skills

  • Technical writing
  • Familiarity using Xcode, Android SDK, and web browser developer tools to access crash and error logs
  • Automation tools; HP QTP/UFT, Selenium, Appium, Cypress
  • Coding languages for writing automated tests; Javascript, Python, Ruby
  • Familiar with using code repositories like BitBucket and incorporating automated tests in the CI process/tools
