Duties:

Lead the QA team in support of the software development life cycle process by managing the day-to-day manual and automated testing practices and procedures. Oversee project teams that are responsible for producing test plans, test scenarios and test cases. Review test documents developed by QA staff, identifying weaknesses or missing components. Evaluate and assess environmental testing needs on a regular basis. Audit test strategy and test case coverage. Establish procedures and methodologies, quality standards and practices within the testing department. Develop and maintain test scenarios using BDD frameworks. Automate functional tests using Java and Python. Create black box test cases to test API. Manages two Senior level Quality Assurance Analysts and a Software Development Engineer in Test. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*

Education & Experience Required:

Master’s degree in computer science or computer engineering and two (2) years of experience in quality assurance. In lieu of a master's degree in computer science or computer engineering and 2 years of quality assurance experience, a bachelor's degree and five years of experience in the same fields will be accepted.

Special Skills Required:

Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Developing and maintaining test scenarios using Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as JBehave or Cucumber; 2) Automating functional tests using Java and Python; and 3) Creating black box test cases to test API.

Salary

$125,507.00 - $162,400.00
