Amount is seeking a Quality Engineering Manager. This position plays a critical role supporting the agile development process and partner environment configurations. As the QE Manager you will build out a team based on skill sets determined are missing/needed, which will be focused on partner environment configuration.

What you'll work on:

  • Build discipline within the Product and Engineering teams and provide input to the entire QE structure 
  • Manage the software QA through all stages of the development life-cycle
  • Create, organize and execute test plans for platform changes
  • Maintain & improve the availability of testing tools & processes
  • Maintain expertise in the data model - being able to use SQL to evaluate the behavior of the software platform
  • Monitor the releases and alert appropriate stakeholders of any errors or issues that emerge
  • Work with all stakeholders to ensure test results are published & signed-off by the appropriate group

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experienced with testing as part of the software development life cycle
  • Intermediate skill level in SQL
  • Experience with QA automation engineering and building test frameworks. (Mobile testing is a plus)
  • Web development such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Previously used testing tools such as TestCafe, Cypress, Selenium, Postman/PactumJS, Cucumber, JMeter
  • Good knowledge of source control systems such as GIT
  • Ability to identify the critical questions to ask to evaluate the success of a project
  • Quantitative and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • High level of inquisitiveness, initiative and critical thinking 
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management
