Quantitative Systems Engineer
As a member our Quantitative Research and Analyst team, you will work with experienced data scientists and engineers to help research and improve latency in our trading systems. You will spend your days working to master the flow of data through our systems and the exchanges. You will be responsible for the reporting, analysis, investigation and optimization of system latency using cutting-edge technology and innovative ideas. The ideal candidate will have strong low latency programming skills, exceptional analytical thinking, and an innovative mindset.

What You'll Do:
- Iterate on latency improvements with engineering teams
- Optimize exchange interactions
- Prototype low latency ideas using FPGA, C, C++, Python
- Measure performance of networking equipment
- Investigate bad trade context and create theories on what happened and how to avoid
- Create datasets for researching low latency events
- Drive improvements in speed of research techniques for the rest of the quant team
- Monitor behavior of system changes to ensure they are behaving as expected
What We're Looking For:
- BA/MS/PhD in STEM or related subject
- Strong programming skills (Such as Python and C++)
- Network or systems programming experience
- Strong desire to understand different technologies and analyze their inner workings
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and a desire to work in a team environment
- Self-starter and independent attitude
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets (finance background is not required and Options Education will be provided)
