Job Duties

R&D Engineers for Chicago, IL location. Perform vehicle crash simulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret information. Translate requirements to applications. Work with data scientists and technical staff to operationalize analysis and machine learning algorithms. Document and assist in developing solid mechanics finite element software simulations as well as design, optimize and operate data models. Evaluate new products and technologies for software and socialize findings. Technical Environment: Finite element methods, Python, Agile, Ansys, LS-Dyna, High-performance computing, Data Visualization, web application, HTML, Linux.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or with mechanical engineering analysis required. Skills Required: Finite element methods, Python/Fortran/coding languages, Agile, Ansys, LS-Dyna, High-performance computing, Data Visualization, web application, HTML, Linux.
