All Campus is searching for a React Developer to join our product development team in Chicago. We are building exciting new client facing web applications to add to our service offering. We are looking for someone who strives to find efficient solutions, and works towards aggressive deadlines towards a new product launch.

The ideal candidate is a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js, redux, webpack, and other tools in the React ecosystem. The candidate would also have a strong background in developing and testing applications across all modern browsers. The candidate would work in-sync with the in-house development and design teams to build a resilient and intuitive web application for a non-technical audience. We are a small development team, and the candidate would be comfortable taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through to completion.

The project is currently in Alpha mode with an internal client using it as a pilot. The ideal candidate would help us build upon our current progress and take us to a beta and full product launch over the next few months.

Skills & Requirements

• 3+ years developing rich UI for web applications
• Strong knowledge of React, JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5
• Strong knowledge of modern front end technologies – JS Frameworks, SASS, etc.
• Experience with consuming APIs for data and 3rd party integrations.
• Experience with writing unit tests for React using Jest, Enzyme, or other tools.
• Strong experience with Git
• Experience with avoiding common security pitfalls and XSS exploits
• Familiarity with server-side application architecture, Python a plus
