React Developer Job Details

 NCSA (Next College Student Athlete) is growing our Software Development team and we are looking for someone to drive our frontend development forward and to provide thought leadership around React.

You’ll be working with a collaborative team of designers, QA, developers, and product managers, so you’ll need to be able to articulate your decisions and take feedback into the next iteration. Want to work with a great team to make students’ lives better? Great!

Required Skills:

• Fluency with React, Redux, React Native and application frameworks
• HTML5, CSS or native UI/UX development mastery
• Knowledge of modern JavaScript standards and frameworks (ES6, ES7)
• Ability to build scalable and reusable components
• Follow solid coding practices and standards and can provide feedback to other Frontend Developers
• Contribute to and work within an Agile team
• Enjoys collaborating, teaching and interacting with other developers & Product Managers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or relevant experience)
• Experience finding areas of pain and fixing them
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Web Design skills with Photoshop or Illustrator
• Familiarity with Jira or a similar issue tracking system
• Un-afraid to manage up or sideways
• Familiarity with standard source control methods
• A team-player, always looking to make things better and easier for a co-worker
