TITLE: Release Train Engineer
DUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC . seeks Release Train Engineer in Riverwoods, IL , to perform program level continuous improvements across Agile Release Train via retrospectives and scrum of scrums forums. Manage and track program level execution including Product Increment feature delivery, escalate impediments and risks. Work with other Release Train Engineers for resolving prioritization, conflicts and synchronization. Participate in Portfolio grooming and writing initiatives with the product management teams. Participate and facilitate Program grooming and writing features with Initiative and Product Owners. Facilitate and drive Scrum of Scrums to identify and resolve dependency for each team in the Value Stream. Participate in Product Manager and Product Owner sync meetings to track the work for each PI (Product Increment). Participate as a coach and guide for scrum teams within the value stream. Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes. Utilize ART level metrics and score cards using Rally and MS excel. Participate in the program increment planning event every quarter. Participate in weekly problem-solving sessions with the management to discuss and solve various problems that are being encountered by the Agile Release Train. Participate in weekly huddles and provide program increment status to management. Participate in continuous improvement sessions with management to discuss processes and practices to continuously enhance the Agile Release Train. Participate and host release train engineer community of practice meetings to share best practices from different Agile Release Trains. Participate in tracking and maintaining all project related documentation using Sharepoint MS Teams Site and Rally.
REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or related occupation: working within a scaled Agile environment; utilizing Rally tool for Agile; generating metrics across an Agile Release Train (ART); and participating as a scrum master coach.
