The Role

Paro is looking to hire a Salesforce Architect to join our Product & Engineering team. This is an exciting role where you will be our first Salesforce technical expert that will help our teams build out robust and automated processes. We’re looking for someone to lead the architectural roadmap for Salesforce while being an advisor to leadership on how our Salesforce processes will support Paro’s growth. The Salesforce Architect will be responsible for the development, integration and operational support of Paro’s Salesforce CRM and associated integrated systems. You’ll be cross-collaborating with our Product, Engineering, Sales, and RevOps teams to develop functional, performing features, systems and APIs. You will also take ownership of migrating our software from Sales Cloud to Salesforce Lightning.



Core Responsibilities:


  • Build scalable architecture to support continuous sales & service initiatives across Salesforce core clouds
  • Partner closely with Paro’s RevOps team on business needs and requirements to help drive the company forward 
  • Provide technical & deployment strategies that reduce incidents, errors, and facilitate the ability for more frequent delivery
  • Create testing practices and strategy to gain efficiencies
  • Automate & remove manual processes between Paro’s platform and our Salesforce CRM
  • Participate in design phases for small to medium sized projects/programs, identifying, tracking and resolving technical issues
  • Establish, deliver and refine a road map to ensure that platforms and products remain current, deliver value and support the needs of stakeholders in terms of scalability, resilience, and operational maintenance
  • Provide system administration support of the Salesforce environment, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects and workflow
  • Create and maintain documentation related to important support processes
  • Focus the organization's use of data towards what best serves the mission
  • Plan ahead for Salesforce upgrades, seasonal releases and long term projects
  • Partner with Salesforce Support on managing system bugs by submitting and following up on Salesforce Tickets

 

How you’ll add value:

  • At Least 10 years of Salesforce Development experience (Service Cloud & Sales Cloud) 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with offshore development teams
  • Having experience working within a modern tech stack at a high growth start-up 
  • Working experience with Marketing tools such as HubSpot and Netsuite 
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
  • Working experience with Agile practices 
  • Challenging the status quo to improve our processes and tools
  • A low ego and humility with an ability to gain trust with various stakeholders
  • Understands the value of the end-user experience
