The Salesforce Developer analyzes, and programs our business operations system. Day to day, this position will support design of conceptual architecture and technical solutions and ensure that project quality meets Paylocity standards. The Salesforce Developer will work closely with the Program Manager, stakeholders, and the team to build and maintain business applications. This position is also responsible for researching technical challenges and creating solutions as well as supporting continuous improvement of employee experience with our internal business systems by proactively identifying potential challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with web development and strong to excellent Visualforce and Apex skills

• Solid understanding of Salesforce Metadata API

• Experience with the Salesforce Service Cloud product suite 

• Must be proficient in object-oriented design and development

• Salesforce Trailhead Certifications strongly preferred (Developer Advanced, Develop with Mobile SDK, Develop Secure Web Apps, Certified App Builder, or Certified Program Developer II) 

During the last three months, you would have:

• Built and maintained custom conversion tools within Salesforce and other project management tools

• Combined your technical ability with business needs, creativity, and can-do attitude to implement and update our internal tools

• Created and customized interfaces using HTML, Javascript, JQuery (including confirmations, form changes, and security roles)

• Designed and wrote reusable programs or SQL routines to allow consistent conversions

• Prepared technical objectives by identifying and describing key goals and providing the work processes to achieve these goals

• Served as the software expert and product specialist, aiming to solve business challenges

• Made complex modifications to existing software applications, modules, and platforms in accordance with high-level specifications, application support, and industry standards.
