An Insider's view of Slalom

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

Slalom provides us the autonomy to work in the ways we are most effective. This can include opportunities to work from home, at the office, as well as at the client site.

Chris

Solution Architect, Technology Enablement

How do you collaborate with other teams in the company?

I work across multiple projects with various co-workers and teams, which means I both learn something new and introduce others to the value of design every day. I love watching people get jazzed about things that I love and it’s great knowing that if I ever a question or problem that has me stumped, the answer is only a conversation away.

Ryn

Consultant, Experience Designer

What does career growth look like on your team?

At Slalom, growth isn’t just a title change or adding managerial responsibilities; it's the opportunity to grow into the professional you want to be. The consultants on my team are able to take charge of their growth by proactively seeking out what they would like to learn, do or achieve — and my job as team lead is to help them get those chances.

A.J.

Solution Principal, Business Advisory Services

What unique initiatives do you have that encourage innovation?

Internal education and experience programs let consultants bring their ideas and passions to life. The programs provide mentors, advocates, and guidance to build and hone your skills in particular technologies or be able to build a proof-of-concept. Apply and enhance your learnings with real hands-on experience.
