Leapfrog Online is seeking an experienced Salesforce.com Consultant to join our Marketing Operations team in a contract capacity; this role will work cross-functionally internally and with our client to implement a new Salesforce instance for that client that will interact with our internal data platform. Candidates should have 6+ years of experience, preferably working with increasingly complex implementations and data platforms.

We are looking for someone who can put together an implementation plan, and execute to it. The Salesforce Implementation Consultant will report to the Director of Marketing Operations. 

The Salesforce Consultant owns the implementation from plan to delivery. This includes:

• Salesforce development, configuration management, and change management
• Develop a thorough understanding of the client’s requirements then applying industry best practices and detailed knowledge of the software to design an optimal solution that supports the business process and meets or exceeds functional requirements. 
• Builds a trusting relationship with major project stakeholders and leads them to adoption of the best solution.  
• Works closely with the internal Leapfrog Technical Architect & Engineering Team to ensure the solution is technically feasible and to identify areas to reduce implementation efforts. 
  • Design an instance where our digital marketing platform can push lead data via Salesforce APIs
  • Configure events in our Salesforce instance that can push lifecycle transitions back into our digital marketing platform for targeting updates
  • Map and diagram process and metrics requirements for system configuration
  • System configuration, testing, refining
  • Data migration, loading, and testing
  • Coordinate and conduct system user training
  • Interface with Product team to define and convey requirements for application and data integrations
• Assists in quality management reviews and ensure that all business and design requirements are met. 
• Play an active role as part of the technical team constructing the solution. 
• Train the internal Marketing Operations manager in supporting and maintaining the newly implemented Salesforce solution
• Work with business owners to develop standard operating procedures and training for the application
• Development and deployment of applicable internal reports within Salesforce and other business tools  
• Document stakeholder requirements, setup and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, CS, or related, required
• Salesforce Admin experience is required
• Minimum of 2 + years Salesforce.com Service Cloud and Sales Cloud experience 
• Minimum of 2 + years technical Architect experience on implementation projects
• Minimum of 2 + years Integrating Salesforce.com with 3rd party solutions 
• Minimum of 2 + years Data Migration experience 
• Additional Salesforce.com Certifications Architect and Administrator Certifications a plus
• Background with architecture concepts (integration styles, architecture styles, patterns) 
• Understanding of key SFDC architectural concepts (e.g. API and governor limits) and how they influence design 
• Agile and Iterative experience
• Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
• Solid understanding of business practices with fundamental understanding of project management methodology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work on deadline and communicate effectively with management and end users
