Our B2B platform reveals key patient insights and accelerates all facets of value-based care operations.

What are examples of work that a Salesforce Tech Lead will do at VillageMD?

We are seeking a talented Salesforce Technical Lead who will own the technical direction for the team. The Tech Lead will work alongside the engineering manager, product manager, and engineers on the team to effectively size and shape features, drive technical decision making, and provide coaching and mentorship.   You will deliver features of your own as well as delegate tasks to execute on the quarterly product road map. 

What you might do in your first year:

• Collaborate with the data team to ingest new HEDIS measures
• Deliver a UI feature to enhance the experience of our Risk or Quality coders
• Work with the dev ops team to port over code from Bitbucket to Github
• Pair with a less senior developer to write a tech spec for a large project
• Prototype a data seeding solution using an open-source tool

The following experience is relevant to us:

• 5+ years as a software developer, head-down writing code
• “Salesforce App Builder” and “Developer” certifications
• Proficient in Git, lightning web components, and modern JavaScript languages (React preferred).
• Proficiency in the following technical artifacts (for current and future states): Data Model / ERD, System Landscape, Integration Orchestration Design / Process Flows, data flow diagrams, etc.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform technologies and understand the limitations, feature functionality, and clouds.
• You have worked in the Health Care industry
• You possess the Salesforce Developer II certification
• Has working knowledge of Python
