Senior Application Infrastructure Engineer at Belvedere Trading

Belvedere Trading is looking for a Senior Engineer to help drive the implementation and innovation of our application infrastructure. In this role, you will be integral in shaping the direction of our system architecture - the applications that you'll be working with are the building blocks of our trading platform and our continuous integration environment.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop integrated solutions with automated tests to validate your changes
• Expand your knowledge of all things that help other developers/quants be more effective
• Express your unique knowledge base to other team members to help us make better products
• Listen and learn from other team members to level up your design and development skills
• Own your changes from inception to completion, communicating to those around you along the way

What you’ll need

• 4-5+ years of development experience
• Experience with multiple languages (polyglot) with a focus on python (70%) and a statically typed language, either C++ or C# (30%)
• A deep understanding of development techniques and best practices for refactoring and designing highly maintainable code
• System architecture understanding including networking, failure tolerance, and complex system interactions
