Job Description This role is for a Senior Quality Engineer within the CIB organization. Candidate will be responsible for defining and enhancing the quality framework of the project. S/he will assist in developing strategies to deliver excellent service to the Stakeholders. The Candidate will work with teams across Globe.
Will collaborate with experienced developers, managers and business partners across the organization.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Understand the various Testing processes and terminologies.
  • Develop Application Level Understanding for the applications that are assigned to him/her for testing.
  • Engage in Requirement Analysis and Review
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Knowledge of automation to Maintain and execute Automated test scripts.
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers, and program managers) to identify system requirements
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies


Required Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
  • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
  • 5+ years of experience in testing and manual testing experience.
  • 5+ years of in-depth understanding of financial industry market trends and conditions.
  • 5+ years Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java
  • Ability to work with various tools like JIRA.
  • Ability to work on test automation tool Testcomplete/Selenium/Other (any one).
  • Hands on experience of UNIX commands.
  • Knowledge of Could platforms - e.g. AWS
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools like Jenkins
  • Drive Innovation and Streamline Overall Testing Process
  • Develop Standards and Procedures to Determine Product Quality and Release Readiness
  • Knowledge of various types of software applications (i.e. Packaged Software, Web Applications, Windows-based applications, Web Services etc.)
  • Review / Create and provide direction to team on Test Plans, Discover Bugs Within Software and Identify, Isolate, and Track Bugs Throughout Testing
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail with ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
