TITLE: Senior Automation Engineer
DUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks Senior Automation Engineer in Riverwoods, IL to gather requirements and build, test, and deploy automation workflows using industry standard tools with minimal oversight. Utilize best practices to optimize processes using automation. Reduce incident handling time, change implementation time, and service delivery. Create monitoring solutions using industry standard tools. Research and gather requirements for automation. Design, build, test and implement automation workflows. Research and gather requirements for monitoring. Design, build, test and implement monitoring. Document and train users of automation/monitoring. Research, identify, and document best practices for use by the team. Provide mentoring/oversight to lower level employees on the team. Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: gathering requirements and building, testing, and deploying automation workflows; translating business requirements and functional specifications into manual test scripts; defining and implementing automation test architectures across applications utilizing automation frameworks, including Java, Selenium, and Cucumber API; researching, identifying, and analyzing competitor products; planning, estimating, and developing test cases; utilizing testing applications, including Rally and ALM (Quality Center). In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in any field and one (1) year of experience in information technology to satisfy the educational requirement.
