How You Can Make an Impact
As a Sr. C++ Developer on our high-frequency trading team, you will be working alongside traders in creating and advancing a platform that is the foundation for all of our decision making.
You will start with by learning the current state of our software and understanding the present functionality. Once you're acclimated, you will get exposed to new ideas and be able to apply creative solutions to the problems presented to you.
- Work alongside trading and software teams to optimize our existing high-performance, ultra-low latency trading platform
- Perform development and deployment of C++ applications for exchange gateways, market data processing, strategy execution, risk management, and reporting
- Manage the current strategy model
- Write direct market data and order gateway applications using exchange API’s and network protocols
- Work directly with trading teams to identify possible enhancements, design solutions, and implement new trading applications in a clean, concise way
What You’ll Need
BS or MS in Computer Science or STEM-related field of study
7+ years of low-level C++ programming experience
Linux/Unix experience and scripting knowledge in Python is highly preferred
Experience with relational databases (kdb preferred)
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and statistical/mathematical modeling
- Self-starter with a passion for designing and implementing solutions to complex and interesting problems
- Ability to work with an entrepreneurial team and take ownership of projects
