If you’re an experienced developer with a passion for code and the skills to create digital experiences across platforms, you could be the next great addition to Pivot’s development team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for development from defining requirements and features to deployment as it relates to all digital materials, including websites, landing pages, microsites, web apps, and emails. Responsibilities:

• Work with the account and creative teams as necessary to drive projects forward and deliver best-in-class interactive experiences
• Translate static design files or sketches into responsive and fully-functioning digital experiences
• Establish and guide website architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability, while meeting all relevant technical requirements
• Follow up with team members and project leads to ensure daily deliverables are met
• Manage and coordinate the handoff of finished work, ensuring projects are delivered on time
• Consult on the application of web technology to meet key client goals
• Understand project scopes and track hours appropriately
• Seek the support and coordination of outside resources as needed
• Continually strive to grow development skills and explore new technologies and educational opportunities to enrich yourself and the team
• Share knowledge of relevant emerging technologies and trends with the broader team

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role
• Deep understanding of modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with experience developing for the WordPress Content Management Systems in PHP 
• Experience with Node.js, build systems, modern JavaScript conventions using modules, ES6+, modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, and using Babel for legacy browser transpilation
• Experience with Sass/LESS CSS preprocessors
• Experience with external API integrations 
• Comprehensive knowledge and use of version control
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications from static layouts
• Well-versed building responsive websites using HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, and WordPress
• Experience executing in a LAMP environment
• Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working across multiple accounts and projects
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS email development and marketing platforms like MailChimp and extensive testing thereof across platforms within Litmus and browser
• Bonus points for deep understanding of Google Analytics, event tracking within Google Tag Manager or familiarity with marketing automation platforms like Adobe Experience Marketing
