StratEx is a ground-breaking tech company that offers a variety of HR and Payroll solutions to help empower restaurant/hospitality businesses simplify and streamline their internal processes. The foundation on which we base our wide range of services is our proprietary HRIS software, eStratEx.  

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer that will work collaboratively within an agile software development team to to expand and improve our SaaS product suite.  This role will provide both hands-on and leadership opportunities to analyze, draft, and execute, manual and automated test strategies, while creating standards and approaches across teams.  You will be working with: product to help set standards for stories and requirements, developers to help implement tooling and strategies for automation, and devops to help build and maintain a quality driven delivery pipeline.

 

Must Have:

  • 5+ years QA experience drafting, maintaining, and executing test strategies for both new and existing applications

  • 2+ years experience with test automation of web applications and backend systems

  • Strong experience testing APIs and backend services

  • Experience working with cross-functional agile environment

  • A quality driven approach to development with a desire to keep things simple

  • Enjoy collaborating with and mentoring colleagues

  • Passionate about technology and learning new things

  • Desire to make continuous improvements to teams and technology

 

Good to Have:

  • Experience with quick iterations and continuous delivery of working software

  • Experience testing and supporting production software in AWS

  • Experience with SaaS application development

  • Experience working with CI/CD tools
