As a Senior Salesforce Developer on the Workflows Engineering team you will create well-design, performant, data-rich solutions across our stack with a user-oriented focus for our care manager, risk coder, and quality manager customers. VillageMD uses Salesforce Health Cloud, ReactJS / LWC, robust data ingestion to Rest Endpoints from a SQL/Postgres/Python data pipeline, and heavy use of out of the box configuration (flows, process builders, automation).  

What are examples of work that a Senior Salesforce Developer will do at VillageMD? 

• Develop a dynamic, reactive lightning web component that displays a Patient timeline from many types of patient data  
• Develop an outbound web service calls to send patient data to be presented in the Provider or Patient mobile applications   
• Propose a new design pattern for apex triggers 
• Develop a rest endpoint that returns a ton of patient data to VMD web apps 
• Refactor an Aura component to a Lightning Web Component  
• Collaborate with a product manager to scope requirements, design and architect a solution, deliver a UI/UX mock-up, and drive the project from ideation to delivery 
• Contribute to team member code reviews   
• Work with a developers on another team to design requirements for a big new interop project

The following experience is relevant to us: 

• 5+ years as a Salesforce developer  
• SFDX and Salesforce CLI experience   
• Salesforce Lightning Web Components    
• Modern javascript (ES6+) 
• Git and Github/Bitbucket  
• Continuous integration with Salesforce (Travis/Circle/Jenkins) 
• Building ETL pipelines (ideally without boomi or informatica) 
• Worked with large volumes of data (meaning in the millions of records) 
• Health care industry and/or Salesforce Health Cloud a plus   
• Python, SQL experience a big plus
