Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations
Designing, building, testing and implementing security systems within the organisation’s IT network
Spot and execute new security technologies and best practices into the company’s multi cloud infrastructure .
Responding to security incidents, define response actions and providing thorough post-event remediation plan
Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and providing security solutions
Answering complex technical and procedural security questions
Define network and security technologies standard. Develop and implement security standards for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices
Perform architecture security assessments of mergers and acquisitions, third party engagements and service providers. Define security requirements,network designs, and access controls
Build strong interpersonal relationships with peers and other key stakeholders that can help smooth execution
Can read and write code in at least one language, C#, Python, etc.
Proficient on both Windows and Linux operating systems as a user and administrator
Proficient in IP networking, able to debug network issues including interpreting packet captures in standard analysis tools
Proven experience with cloud security technology design and implementation
Strong knowledge of security best practices in multi-cloud environment design like AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI
Understanding of complex enterprise environments and current technology areas like cloud, mobility, labs, remote access, network security and security monitoring.
Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication and authorization
The Security Architect is expected to have excellent teamwork abilities in order to work with various multi-disciplinary teams, and provide leadership for the successful completion of group goals
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work with a geographically dispersed team while adjusting working hours as needed
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or another related field
7+ of experience in a security architecture role specializing in cloud environments
Must be able to maintain a US Security Clearance
