DRW is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a team of highly talented Cryptocurrency technologists, traders, and researchers. As part of this team, you will be tasked with designing, building, and maintaining full-stack trading systems for use in Cryptocurrency markets. Given the nature of this market, you will also be expected to understand changes being made to the technology that underlies cryptocurrencies. While the team primarily works in C++, Java, and Python we are open to exploring new languages should the need arise.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with traders, quantitative researchers, and other software engineers in cross-functional team environments.
  • Development and support of full-stack C++/Java trading systems. This will include work on trading algorithms, risk management, monitoring, user-interfaces, and operational integration.
  • Research changes to the technology that underlies cryptocurrencies as well as the introduction of new coins to the market.
  • Take part in a 24/7 support rotation.

Required Skills: 

  • Strong experience with C++/Java in a micro-service architecture.
  • Strong experience with Cryptocurrencies and their underlying technology
  • Experience with development and support of trading systems.
  • Experience with front-end web development (JavaScript, etc.)
  • Initiative and proven experience independently driving projects to completion.

  • A passion for cryptocurrencies and the role they play in global markets.
  • Active participation in cryptocurrency user groups and open source projects.
