Major Responsibilities: Work in an agile development environment, collaborating with the team to deliver quality software iteratively. Convert requirements into test cases and help define use case scenarios based on product and domain knowledge. Follow software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, test case development, deployment and execution, test data creation and maintenance, defect tracking, and test automation. Work closely with product management and development team to understand requirements and technical specifications. Work with the QA Manager to identify and develop metrics for assessing the quality of the delivered project, analyzing trends, researching anomalies and summarizing findings. Design, develop and execute automation scripts using Selenium and JS test tools and other open source tools. Collaborate and guide a small team of QA Engineers. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies. Organized and capable of working on multiple tasks efficiently. Foster a positive team environment. Ensure confidentiality of internal and external data. Perform ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements: Applicant must possess a Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, or in a related field and 3 years of professional work experience in Quality Assurance. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience in the following: (1) 2 years of experience using Agile with Scrum methodology; (2) 2 years of experience using QA with knowledge of established QA practices and the software development life cycle; (3) 2 years of experience working with MySQL and MongoDB; (4) 2 years of experience using bug tracking software (specifically JIRA); and (5) 2 years of experience using browser Automation Tools such as Selenium and REST API testing.
