Job Summary

Kranze Technology Solutions develops complex, customized cutting edge aircraft avionics hardware and software solutions supporting survivability, situational awareness, and interoperability systems. KTS is seeking an experienced signal processing engineer to perform the following:

• Design signal processing algorithms to improve image quality
• Develop algorithms to stitch and georeference imagery from multiple sensor
• Prototype algorithms in C/C++, CUDA/OpenCL, Python and Matlab
• Analyze performance of algorithms against large quantities of existing data
• Collaborate with software engineers to facilitate algorithm implementation in real-time
• Assist with system integration, verification and validation, and effectiveness analysis

Basic Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related technical fields with five or more years of experience
• Strong analytical, problem solving skills
• Comfortable with C/C++, Python or Matlab
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance, for which the United States Government requires United States citizenship

Desired Qualifications and Skills

• Experience with remote sensors such as EO/IR or radar
• Experience with GPU processing using CUDA or OpenCL
• Experience with image processing algorithms such as sharpening filters, histogram equalization, stabilization, etc.
• Experience with Linux operating systems
