We are looking for a creative and driven Senior Developer to bring fresh ideas to the way our clients work, coaching your peers in new technology, and advocating a best practice mentality. We are experts in helping our clients adopt and implement Salesforce as the heartbeat of their business processes, allowing employees to maximize their production and effectiveness. Most of our engagements are performed remotely from our offices in Chicago’s loop.

Job Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to determine technical requirements
• Work with senior members of the team to analyze business requirements, translating those requirements in to customized solutions using the Salesforce platform
• Lead development work streams, from design through testing and deployment, often working with junior members of the team
• Provide leadership and mentoring to your scrum team in all aspects of engineering best practices, including bringing new ideas to the team
• Provide thought leadership to SDLC that strives to reach CI/CD models
• Contribute code that satisfies requirements and adheres to standards and best practices
• Creates and organizes technical documentation, including providing “code school” style knowledge transfer to other team members
• Supports the product they develop and configures logging and monitoring to ensure the team is able to diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Consistently meets sprint commitments and expectations without close supervision

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• At least 2+ years developer experience on the Salesforce Platform
• Experience with common JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, NodeJS, etc.
• Expert knowledge of Salesforce Development and Declarative technology stack or equivalent (Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Process Builder, Lightning, Visual Force)
• Experience working with API management systems and security practices.
• Experience with Mulesoft or other middleware solutions (Boomi, Jitterbit, Informatica, etc)
• Experience working with integrated development environments, source code management systems and workflow management systems.
• Experience with web development languages (JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, JQuery, etc.) and software design patterns
• Willingness to travel as needed (usually less than 50%)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or the natural sciences; or the equivalent work experience
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without limitation
