What You'll Do

Skills & Requirements 
We're looking for JavaScript/React enthusiasts who have shipped and maintained production web applications. Candidates should understand web technologies inside and out and take pride in your craft. Experience with React is required, and interest in mobile app development using React Native is a major plus. Exceptional candidates will have full-stack expertise, including knowledge of Node.js, and be comfortable architecting solutions from scratch. Join a growing practice at the intersection of our web and mobile teams and help to define how we build native, web, and progressive apps for mobile, desktop, and emerging platforms. 

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and enhance React and React Native applications. 
  • Operate within the dynamics of a team; exercise proper etiquette and citizenship during "team development" sprints. 
  • Strong motivation to drive impact by making product improvements. 
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code. 
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of devices and web browsers. 

Required Skills and Abilities

Must Have 

  • Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and experience with libraries like SASS, LESS. 
  • Knowledge of the following JavaScript frameworks: React or React Native. 
  • Experience with source control tools such as Git. 
  • Experience with work item tracking and build management. 
  • Focus on making yourself and those around you great. 
  • Passion about building high-quality applications with software implementation best practices. 
  • Ability to be self-motivated, independent, and detail-oriented. 
  • Have a sense of accountability and ownership for your work. 
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Nice to Have 

  • Demonstrate prior consulting experience. 
  • Portfolio of React applications in production. 
  • Experience in server-side JavaScript frameworks/Dev Ops, i.e. Node.js, GraphQL, CI/CD 
  • Experience in one or more of the following paradigms: Redux, RxJs, TypeScript, and Flow. 
  • Knowledge of the following JavaScript frameworks: Angular, Vue.js. 
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs. 

Required Education

  • Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent work experience.
