Job Purpose:
This position serves as a technical lead for DataPower within the Integration Services Team. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for application integration design, development, and support for SOA solutions. This role will also provide the technical governance and oversight across our SOA Architecture/Landscape.
Description:
As a Service Oriented Architecture Technical Lead the candidate will be responsible for:
- Estimating effort and cost to implement Integration Solutions
- Will provide technical leadership and coordinate support activities
- Responsible for upgrades, migrations and Enterprise projects that involve DataPower
- Experience in design and implement security and access plans for APIs
Basic Requirements:
- 10-12 years of IT experience (application development and/or application support)
- 8+ years of experience in configure and initiation of IBM WebSphere Data Power and SOA appliances.
- 8+ years of experience in software development life cycle inclusive of experience in E- business, SOA and Middleware development and administration
Top Candidate Will Also Have:
- Strong customer focus
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members and others in the workgroup, as well employees in other units, customers, and suppliers
- Strong technical problem-solving skills
- Strong Desire / ability to learn in complex and evolving environment
- IBM System Administrator Certification
- An understanding of Caterpillar's network and security polices, and patterns.
