Job Duties
Design, provision, monitor and maintain the private cloud on-premise datacenter and public cloud automation framework. Create, configure and deliver cloud infrastructure environments using automation best practices and a proactive strategy. Automate the infrastructure and create tools. Work in SRE/DevOps production operation in diversified Linux and/or Windows environments. Deploy, configure, and maintain code quality & security scanning tools. Provide technology assessments in support of automation and migration to cloud, automate operational processes. Technical Environment: SRE/DevOps, Linux and Windows environments; VMware, AWS, Bash, Python, Docker, Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Debian), RESTFUL APIs, tomcat, apache, NGINX, nodejs, Ansible, Salt, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Vagrant, JIRA, Kafka clusters, Kubernetes, Helm, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, relational databases (Oracle) configured for high availability and redundancy; IaaS, PaaS; App Dynamics, CloudWatch, SolarWinds, Grafana, and Prometheus, CI/CD pipelines and integration.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology/Systems/Management or any Engineering or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or with software design OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology/Systems/Management or any Engineering or related field plus five years of progressive experience in the job offered or with software design required. Required Skills: SRE/DevOps production operation experience in diversified Linux and/or Windows environments; deploying, configuring, and maintaining code quality & security scanning tools; VMware, AWS, Bash, Python, Docker, Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Debian), RESTFUL APIs, tomcat, apache, NGINX, nodejs, Ansible, Salt, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Vagrant, JIRA, Kafka clusters, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, relational databases such as Oracle configured for high availability and redundancy; creating tools for infrastructure (IaaS and PaaS) management and automation; App Dynamics, CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus. Must be willing to share on-call rotation with the team.
