We are seeking a Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Chicago, IL. You will be integral to our clients’ success and growth, using your technical proficiency to develop integrations to our marketing platforms. Our ideal candidate must demonstrate experience with SQL Statements, Scripting (PHP / Perl), XML and APIs, as well as bring an innate love of solving problems and identifying solutions. Your genuine passion for technology, desire for continual growth, and troubleshooting skills make you a natural to be a part of our team. You are looking for more than a coding position where your creativity and ability to think “outside of the box” will help you identify, manage, and solve unique problems for some of our biggest clients.

Your Responsibilities

• Maintaining data integrity and managing data inputs for marketing campaigns
• Developing marketing campaign integrations via our partner API
• Scoping technical requirements for marketing campaign integrations
• Serve as technical resource for our client-facing Marketing Services team
• Opportunity for travel (up to twice per year)

Your Qualifications and Skills

• 1-2 years’ generating SQL statements (including Oracle and SQL Server dialects)
• 1-2 years’ experience with scripting languages, such as PHP, Perl and Javascript
• 1-2 years’ experience with XML, XSLT, APIs and Web Services (SOAP or REST)
• Demonstrated strong problem solving skills
• Excellent Communication, Analytical and Development skills
• Solid expertise creating reusable code/libraries (SDK’s)
• Advanced knowledge in SQL and API programming
• Familiarity with email sending platforms (such as Salesforce Exact Target, WhatCounts)
• Working experience with AMP script (ExactTarget) 
• HTML and CSS, specifically for email templates
• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment
• A passion for technology
• Always looking to learn more, improve, and apply the best technology for the solution
