We are currently seeking a talented software engineer to join us as we modernize our platform and work to scale with our quickly growing engineering teams. What your day could consist of:

• Develop self-service GraphQL functionality on new and existing data stores and APIs
• Build example and template client and server applications for GraphQL to demonstrate correct usage of GraphQL tools
• Help transition away from monolithic application architecture to microservices
• Collaborate with product and platform engineers on innovative projects to increase scale and reliability of the platform

What is needed:

• Understanding of cloud-native principles and concepts: automation, declarative configuration, immutability, observability
• Experience engineering software in Python, Java or TypeScript
• Experience developing REST APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger or Blueprint schema
• Experience with GraphQL server implementations such as Apollo Server
• Experience configuring and operating with API gateway like Ambassador or Kong Experience building CI/CD pipelines for software and infrastructure
