What You’ll Do:

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts in a dynamic, agile development environment
  • Work with business analysts and development teams to clarify User Stories and Acceptance Criteria to ensure testability
  • Interact daily with product owners, business analysts, and developers to ensure the translation of use cases and/ or technical specifications into test cases and test suites
  • Conduct a range of tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements
  • Provide input into design, coding, and integration testing and release of the final product
  • Work closely with engineering to troubleshoot and lead the root cause analysis process and document and report defects

 

Skills & Requirements

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and/or experience
  • Experience in a software development role or a technical testing role using Agile software development methodologies
  • Familiarity with SQL (ability to read/write/manipulate queries), XML and Web Services Testing
  • Experience with automated testing a plus
  • Knowledge of Java and/or other Object Oriented Programming Languages, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, AWS, Redis
  • Experience with JIRA, Zephyr, and Confluence preferred
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to rapidly process new information and develop knowledge of system or product being tested
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Sports knowledge is a plus
