Position Description
- Lead the design and development of solutions in the areas of software design, implementation, deployment support, and unit testing
- Ensure the security, confidentiality, availability, and integrity of client information
- Monitor applicable technological changes for their effect on system security to ensure organizational adaptation and compliance
- Adhere to procedures to provide alternate personnel for key system security functions in case of absence or departure
Basic Qualifications
- BA or BS preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or IT related field
Preferred Skills
- 5 years of software engineering experience, a track record of building highly scalable, high-quality systems in a direct-to-consumer business. Should had played a critical role in the development of such systems.
- Architecture and software design experience, including strong design patterns knowledge
- Project management experience
- Demonstrates strong understanding of the importance of end to end software development which may include working in Agile methodologies and processes
- Passion for learning & researching new technologies
- Hands on & fill the gaps in development
- Excellent experience in Java/Scala programming
- Coaches and mentors members of the team
- Engages with technology and business leadership to evolve architectural principles and ensure alignment with technology solution

- Critical Thinking - Ability to use logic and reason to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
