Job Description: 

• Have a voice in the architectural definition and implementation of various key technology pieces
• Translate business requirements into technical design specifications
• Participate in the product definition phase
• Partake in unit-testing for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability
• Utilize Github to create pull requests, review code and merge branches
• Collaborate with the team and participate in knowledge sharing

Think you have what it takes? Here’s what we’re looking for:

• University degree or advanced diploma in a software engineering-related discipline, preferably in Computer Science
• Strong understanding of application development, including development and programming methodologies
• Demonstrated ongoing career development through active and self-motivated professional development
• Experience working in agile team environments
• Involved in a comprehensive SDLC
• Excellent communication skills

Technical Requirements:

• Excellent skills and experience in some or all of following tech stacks:
  • Strong working knowledge of Android SDK (API 14+)
  • Knowledge of Relational/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• 4+ years of experience with Android development
• Strong Android front-end development skills mixed with experience
• Developed integrations with RESTful APIs
• Passion for new web technologies
• Constantly on the quest for knowledge
• Experience with AWS, GCP and Cloud an asset
• An expert linguist in other dev languages
