Duties & Responsibilities

Codal is searching for a highly experienced front-end developer that specializes in the Angular framework. With unmatched expertise in web & app development, our ideal candidate will create rich, interactive front-end solutions that fulfill our clientele’s business requirements and further their brand’s mission. In addition to superior AngularJS skills, applicants must be extremely well-versed in using HTML, CSS, and Javascript to create both adaptive and responsive digital solutions.
They must possess superior communication & collaboration skills, as they will directly interact with development teams, UX designers, information architects, marketers, and even clients. Working at the intersection of design & technology, they must be able to actualize a creative vision with informed technical implementation, and seamlessly integrate with back-end systems.

Other responsibilities include:

• Manipulate Photoshop files and translate them into the web format
• Play a key role in client communication and project plans by translating business requirements into usable web applications
• Contribute to the development of strategic solution designs based on understanding user, business, and functional requirements
• Document programming approach through technical specifications

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in using AngularJS to develop dynamic, highly interactive user interfaces for both web & mobile applications
• Work out of our headquarters in downtown Chicago
• Must be fluent in front-end technologies including, but not limited to, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, SASS, XML
• Familiarity with one or more JavaScript libraries (jQuery, Prototype.)
• Experience and expertise in Bootstrap, Node.JS, Backbone, and other frameworks is a plus
• Interest in staying current and applying the most current best practices
• Able to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment
• Has a true passion for design and technology
• Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
• Positive attitude, high energy, and love for broadening web development skill set
